Last updated 2026-08-21. These terms govern your use of See The Six. Using the site means you accept them.
What See The Six is, and is not
See The Six is a directory. We publish business contact details so you can get in touch with a business directly. We are not a party to anything you agree with a business. We do not take bookings, hold your money, take a commission, deliver anything, or guarantee the quality, safety, legality or pricing of any goods or services. Any contract is between you and that business.
Unclaimed listings
Listings marked Unclaimed are built from map data published by OpenStreetMap contributors under the Open Database Licence. We reproduce that data in good faith. It may be out of date or wrong. Photographs on unclaimed listings are stand-in imagery and are not pictures of that business. If you own a business and want a listing corrected or taken down, email hello@seethesix.com and we will action it within seven days.
Claimed listings
Once you claim a listing you are responsible for everything on it. You confirm you are authorised to act for that business, that what you publish is accurate and lawful, that you hold any licence your trade requires, and that you own or have permission to use every image you upload. We may suspend or remove a listing that breaks these terms, misleads people, or attracts credible complaints.
Featured placement
Featured placement is paid promotion. It moves a listing higher in results and marks it with a Featured label. It is not an endorsement, a quality rating, or a verification of the business. Prices, terms and cancellation rules are shown before you pay. Payment is handled by PayPal under their own terms. Featured placement runs for the period you paid for and does not renew automatically unless you chose a subscription, which you can cancel any time from your PayPal account or by emailing us.
Refunds
If featured placement fails to run because of a fault on our side, we refund in full. If you cancel part way through a paid period, we refund the unused whole months. We do not refund because the promotion did not produce the number of enquiries you hoped for.
Reviews and content
Reviews must be your own genuine experience. No paid reviews, no reviews of your own business, no reviews of a competitor. We remove content that is defamatory, discriminatory, harassing, misleading, or that infringes someone's rights. A business owner cannot delete a review about their own business, though they can reply to it and can report it to us.
Acceptable use
Do not scrape the site at scale, resell the directory, attempt to break into it, or use the contact details here to send unsolicited marketing. Bulk contact of listed businesses for advertising purposes is a breach of Canada's Anti-Spam Legislation as well as these terms.
Our liability
We provide the site as it is. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss arising from your dealings with a listed business. Nothing here limits liability for death, personal injury caused by negligence, or fraud. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.
Intellectual property
The See The Six name, design and code belong to Code X Elite Ltd. Unclaimed listing data remains under the Open Database Licence and is attributed accordingly. Content you upload stays yours; you grant us a licence to display it on the site and in our own promotion of the site.
Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada, and the courts of Ontario have jurisdiction.
